Un farmacéutico recibió accidentalmente cuatro dosis de la vacuna de Pfizer contra el covid-19 en Israel. A pesar de que el hombre tuvo que ser trasladado a un hospital para ser examinado y monitoreado, aseguró este martes que se sentía bien.
El error fue cometido por el trabajador de salud de la empresa encargado de poner la inyección, quien no se percató de que cada vial de Pfizer contiene varias dosis. No obstante, al advertir el hecho se tomaron las medidas necesarias para salvaguardar la salud del individuo, identificado como Uday Azizi.
«No tengo ningún problema en volver a recibir cuatro dosis», bromeó el hombre tras insistir en la necesidad de ser «optimistas» sobre la vacuna y el fin de la pandemia. Por otra parte, Azizi comentó que hasta el momento solo había experimentado efectos secundarios comunes como dolor y un leve enrojecimiento en el lugar del pinchazo.
Además, el farmacéutico señaló que probablemente necesitará una inyección adicional de seguimiento después de 3 semanas e instó a perder el miedo a la vacuna contra el covid-19, cuyo proceso de administración inició en el país de Oriente Medio el domingo.
Las autoridades de Salud indicaron que hasta el martes, casi 30.000 personas ya habían sido vacunadas.
